2011 Statewide MBE Public Policy Day

Nebula Company participated in the 2011 Statewide MBE Public Policy Day event at the Texas State Capital. We were happy to join representatives from the DFW Airport, K Strategies and the Dallas Fort Worth MSDC. The event focused on meeting with State public officials to promote policies pertinent to the meaningful and sustainable inclusion of MBEs in contracting and other procurement opportunities statewide.

Nebula Adds Derry and Wallis to Client List

Nebula has earned its first International client. Derry & Wallis Trading Company, based in Alberta, Canada offers fine leather goods of exceptional quality for discriminating customers in Canada and the United States. We are very excited about working with this fine online retailer. Owner, Jodi Ouellette, has consistently expressed one overarching need, "We need to effect growth and faithfully represent our business." Her reason for selecting Nebula as her branding and design source is that our services are directly targeted to her needs. Our personal approach and our ability to scale our services helped her meet these needs.

Nebula has also been tasked with Webmaster duties covering the existing and future site.

Marathon Training for Brands

It came to mind as I sit contemplating my new marathon training schedule. After recovering from a brush with Achilles Tendinitis and going through a few hundred dollars trying to FIND the right running shoe, I am back on the road and realizing what it feels like to be "lapped" by a better trained runner. You never get over the feeling of running 20 miles. My Achilles injury, along with a myriad of other nagging and effectively disabling injuries, served as the perfect Grim Reaper for my 2010 running schedule. After over 6 months of training for the White Rock Marathon, I had to withdraw and do what runners hate to do; sit and recover. What does this have to do with your brand? Everything!
